Passengers have been demanding a platform for trains going to Pune and Mumbai for two years, but the Central Railway administration's poor planning and negligence have led to the delay. There are no adequate facilities like seating or shade for passengers on the track. Nira station handles numerous trains, including Koyna Express, Maharashtra Express, and various non-stop express trains, as well as passenger and DEMU trains to Pune and Kolhapur. The station witnesses a high volume of passengers traveling to and from Pune, Mumbai, Gondia, Satara, and Kolhapur. The station generates significant revenue from passenger fares and has a large number of reserved seat bookings. Koyna Express and Maharashtra Express only halt at Nira station for a minute or two. During monsoon and festivals, there is a huge rush of passengers traveling to Pune and Mumbai. The lack of a platform puts senior citizens and women at risk while boarding trains. Although there were initial efforts to construct a platform, they were halted due to the Central Railway's flawed policies. Passengers are demanding that the Central Railway authorities address the inconvenience and build a new platform for trains to Pune and Mumbai at Nira station.

Passengers do saal se Pune aur Mumbai jaane wali trains ke liye platform banwane ki demand kar rahe hai, lekin Central Railway administration ki planning kharab hai aur woh is matter ko seriously nahi le rahe hain. Tracks par passengers ke liye koi proper facility jaise ki baithne ki jagah ya shade nahi hai. Nira station se Koyna Express, Maharashtra Express aur bahut saari non-stop express trains jaati hai, aur Pune aur Kolhapur jaane wali passenger aur DEMU trains bhi chalti hai. Station par Pune, Mumbai, Gondia, Satara aur Kolhapur jaane aur aane wale passengers ki bahut rush rehti hai. Station se bahut saara passenger revenue aata hai aur bahut saare reserved seat bookings hote hain. Koyna Express aur Maharashtra Express Nira station par sirf ek ya do minute rukti hai. Monsoon aur festivals mein Pune aur Mumbai jaane wale passengers ki bahut zyada rush hoti hai. Platform na hone se, senior citizens aur women ko gaadi mein chadhte time apni jaan ka khatra rehta hai. Halanki, platform banwane ki shuruaat hui thi, lekin Central Railway ki galat policies ki wajah se woh band ho gaya. Passengers ki demand hai ki Central Railway authorities is dikkat ko dur karein aur Nira station par Pune aur Mumbai jaane wali trains ke liye ek naya platform banaye.
