Train 09044 Gorakhpur-Dahanu Road special train departing from Gorakhpur on October 2nd will be controlled for 35 minutes. Train 20103 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Gorakhpur Express will be diverted via Gonda-Barhni-Gorakhpur, skipping stops at Maskenwa, Babhnan, Basti and Khalilabad. Train 14674 Amritsar-Jaynagar Express departing from Amritsar on October 1st will be diverted via Gonda-Barhni-Gorakhpur, skipping stops at Mankapur, Babhnan, Basti and Khalilabad. Train 13020 Kathgodam-Howrah Express departing from Kathgodam on October 1st will be diverted via Gonda-Barhni-Gorakhpur, skipping stops at Mankapur, Babhnan, Basti and Khalilabad. The frequency of the Tanakpur-Daurai special train has been increased from one day to four days a week. This train, numbered 15091-15092, will run from Izzatnagar to Daurai (Jaipur) via Moradabad and Delhi. The train will now run four days a week, up from its previous one day a week schedule.

The bi-weekly special train service, 09043/09044 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur-Dahanu Road, will be operational until December 31, 2024. In preparation for upcoming festivals, the Railways will also be running special trains between Mumbai and Punjab. Train number 09043, running between Bandra Terminus and Gorakhpur, will operate until August 27th. The return journey (train number 09044) will run from Gorakhpur to Dahanu Road until August 28th.
