Road, was traveling from Rewa to Pendra Road station on the train. He had placed his bag containing the video cameras, memory cards, batteries, flashlights, chargers, etc., in the general coach when it was stolen. Dubey reported the incident to the Pendra Road GRP, who then filed a zero FIR and sent the case diary to the GRP Shahdol. The GRP registered a case against an unknown person under Section 379 and began an investigation. They also reported the theft to Rail Madad for assistance. Based on information from an informant, the RPF Task Force Two, under the guidance of senior officials, launched a search for the perpetrator. On Saturday, a team consisting of RPF Task Force Two officers and GRP Shahdol officers raided the home of the minor suspect, who resided in Marwahi-Pendra-Gorela. They recovered the stolen items, including cameras, lenses, batteries, chargers, flashlights, and memory cards, worth ₹5 lakh. The suspect was subsequently brought to the Shahdol GRP for further action.
