The Indian Railways is looking to introduce the Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high-speed train, on the Kathgodam-Delhi route in Uttarakhand. The Railways Board has received a timetable proposal from Kathgodam railway officials and is expected to approve the route soon, allowing for the launch of the Vande Bharat Express.
