Hello Members, On 24 Nov I boarded Porbandar-Howrah Super Fast Express from Rajkot Juction travelling to Howrah Junction. I wanted to share a few photos taken from my Samsung Mobile GT-C3312.
Its the 1st time I've ever taken such photos and posted on a social site. Please excuse the flaws found on my shots.
The description of photos is as follows:
Photo 1 :...
more... On 24 Nov whilst waiting for my train 12906 to arrive on platform no.1 @ Rajkot Junction, I noticed that one of the pipes - used to fill the train tanks - had its valve open and water was gushing out. An un-necessary wastage of precious water.
Luckily one Railway employee passed by and I drew his attention to the open valve, who promptly got down to the other side and closed the valve.
Photo 2 : The diesel loco that drags this train from Porbandar to Ahmedabad, chugging in @ Rajkot Junction, right on its scheduled time.
Photo 3 : My coach in which I was alloted a side upper berth.
Photo 4 : Near the wash-room, this house-keeping leaflet was pasted. Regretably, the house keeping staff were not efficient in their duties. ( I will also be complaining about it to the Railway Ministry very soon).
Photo 5 : Railway staff @ Bilaspur Junction reparing the broken door of one of the toilets inside the 3AC coach. This toilet had a broken door right from Porbandar. Passengers faced a lot of in-convenience with just one washroom on one side of the 3AC coach.
Photo 6 : My co-passengers were a family and their two daughters were fighting to play the Angry Birds Game on their father's mobile. I was saddened to see such 'mobile mania' among today's toddlers and infants.
Photo 7 : My train hauled by a BRC WAP4 Loco entered Howrah Station 30 minutes before time and resting after its exhaustive journey.
