Gaurav Bansal, a passenger, reported the incident on Twitter to the railway minister and board. A case has been filed against unknown individuals at the Chandigarh RPF post. Two prior incidents occurred on June 25th and 23rd, where stones were thrown at train number 12045 and another Shatabdi Express, respectively, causing damage and fear among passengers. These incidents occurred near Ambala Cantt station and between Ambala Cantt and Dhulkot stations. Cases were registered at the respective RPF stations.

Isse pehle 25 June aur 23 June ko bhi aise incidents hue the, jahaan train number 12045 aur ek aur Shatabdi Express pe patthar maare gaye the. Isse passengers ko dar lag gaya tha. Ye incidents Ambala Cantt station ke paas aur Ambala Cantt aur Dhulkot station ke beech hue the. RPF station pe case file kiya gaya tha.
