Eastern Railway cracks down on illegal alarm chain pulling, arrests 393 people

They have launched this initiative to deter such disruptive behavior, as it not only affects train punctuality but also poses safety risks to passengers due to unscheduled stops in busy areas. Pulling the alarm chain without a valid reason is considered an offense under Section 141 of the Railway Act, carrying a potential fine.

yeh clear kiya hai ki alarm chains passenger ki safety ke liye bohot important hain aur sirf emergency mein use honi chahiye. Unhone yeh campaign shuru kiya hai taaki aise mischief walon ko rokna ho, kyunki yeh train ke time pe asar dalta hai aur busy areas mein unscheduled stops ki wajah se passengers ke liye bhi risk banta hai. Bina sahi wajah ke alarm chain khinchna Railway Act ki Section 141 ke under punishable offence hai, jiske liye fine bhi lag sakta hai.
