The investigation is being conducted thoroughly to determine any connection between the accused and local or international terrorist groups, including SIMI. After his initial three-day remand, the RPF received a five-day extension (until October 1st) from the Special Railway Magistrate Abhishek Soni in Khandwa to continue the investigation.
