more... Akhileshwer Singh, and his wife Kiran Devi, stating that Tej Pratap's involvement cannot be denied as he was also a director of A.K. Infosystems Limited. The ED had filed a supplementary chargesheet against 11 accused on August 6, out of whom 4 have died. The court has scheduled the next hearing on October 7th, where all accused must appear. This case involves allegations that land was exchanged for railway jobs, including the instance where Kiran Devi, the mother of a railway job candidate, sold her land to Misa Bharti, Lalu Yadav's daughter, for a significantly lower price in 2007, after which her son secured a job in the Central Railway in Mumbai. In a separate development, Amit Katyal, a close associate of Lalu Yadav, has been granted regular bail by the Delhi High Court in the land-for-jobs case. The court noted that Katyal has been cooperating with the investigation and did not attempt to avoid summons. The ED has already filed a chargesheet against Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav, and others in this case. Lalu and Tejashwi were questioned by the ED for over 10 hours in January 2024. The investigation revolves around several transactions where land was exchanged for railway jobs, including instances where individuals or their family members were offered jobs after selling land to Lalu Yadav's family members or companies associated with them.
