Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special is scheduled to make its final run on September 9th, while the Barauni-Coimbatore Special is scheduled to make its final departure from Barauni on September 6th. The South Railway's CPTM has proposed extending both trains by 12 trips, meaning the Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special would run until December 2nd and the Barauni-Coimbatore Special would run until November 29th. A new special train will commence from Dhanbad to Coimbatore on September 4th, going through Gomoh, Gaya and DDU. This train will run till after Chhath. Extending the trips of the existing Coimbatore special trains would be a major convenience for passengers, especially those travelling in sleeper class.

Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special 9 September ko apna last run karegi aur Barauni-Coimbatore Special 6 September ko Barauni se apni last journey shuru karegi. South Railway ke CPTM ne dono trains ke trips ko 12-12 trips tak badhaane ka proposal banaaya hai, isliye Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special 2 December tak aur Barauni-Coimbatore Special 29 November tak chalegi. Gomoh, Gaya aur DDU se hoti hui 4 September se Dhanbad se Coimbatore ke liye ek nayi special train chalu ho rahi hai. Ye train Chhath ke baad tak chalegi. Existing Coimbatore special trains ke trips ko extend karne se passengers ko bahut suvidha hogi, khas kar sleeper class mein travel karne walon ko.
