The boy has been placed in a shelter in Bokaro and the Malda district administration has been notified. The 13-year-old boy from Balasore was rescued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Mahuda station. He stated he worked for 14 hours at a hotel in Chandigarh and was not paid by the hotel owner when he returned home. The CWCs of Balasore and Dhanbad are coordinating with authorities in Chandigarh to ensure the boy receives justice.

CWC (Child Welfare Committee) jaanch kar raha hai ki woh chhoda gaya ya woh bhatak gaya. Bacche ko Bokaro mein aawasit kiya gaya hai aur Malda district administration ko soochna bheji gayi hai. Mahuda station se mila 13 saal ka baccha aadiwasi parivar se hai. Woh Odisha ke Balasore ka rehne wala hai. Puchhtaach mein usne bataya ki Chandigarh ke hotel mein usse 14 ghante kaam liya jata tha. Ghar lautate waqt bhi hotel sanchalak ne bacche ko paise nahi diye. Balasore aur Dhanbad ke CWC Chandigarh se samanvay kar rahe hain taki bacche ko nyay mile. Is bacche ko RPF (Railway Protection Force) ne Mahuda se rescue kiya.

Previously, a special train from Kochiveli to Barauni via Rourkela, Ranchi, and Bokaro Hatia was operated till July 2nd. The train was introduced to manage passenger crowding and waiting lists. The South Eastern Railway zone also operates a special train between Tatanagar and Banaras, while the Tatanagar-Patna special train via Gaya has been discontinued due to lack of passenger demand. Passengers often avoid special trains due to their higher fares, which are 1.5 times the usual train fares.
