Bengaluru-Coimbatore Vande Bharat to start by December end

Bengaluru is set to get its fourth Vande Bharat Express by the end of December, connecting it to Coimbatore. The train, tentatively approved by railway authorities, will link KSR Bengaluru with Coimbatore Junction via Salem. It is likely to be an eight-coach trainset. The Railway Board is awaiting the final approval...

after a recent report on the feasibility of the train was submitted. Details about fares, stoppages and travel time will be available after the approval. Currently, the fastest train takes 6 hours 45 minutes to cover the distance, while the Vande Bharat is expected to take around five hours. There are two possible routes: via Hosur and Salem (379 km) and via Kuppam and Salem (420 km). The route for the Vande Bharat has not been finalized yet. The line via Kuppam and Salem is doubled and electrified, while the line via Hosur and Salem remains largely single. KN Krishna Prasad, of the Karnataka Railway Vedike, suggests the train should run via Bangarpet and Kuppam with stops at KR Puram and Bangarpet. This route allows for higher speeds after Tirupattur. The Bengaluru-Coimbatore Vande Bharat is expected to be operated by the Southern Railway's Salem division, leaving Coimbatore in the morning and reaching Bengaluru by noon. The primary maintenance will likely be at Coimbatore.

Bengaluru mein December ke end tak chautha Vande Bharat Express aa raha hai, jo Coimbatore se connect hoga. Railway authorities ne is train ko tentatively approve kar diya hai, jo KSR Bengaluru ko Coimbatore Junction se Salem ke raaste connect karega. Yeh probably eight-coach trainset hoga. ki feasibility pe report maangi thi, jo recently submit ki gayi hai aur final approval ka wait hai. Fares, stoppages and travel time ke details Railway Board ke approval ke baad hi pata chalenge. Abhi fastest train dono cities ke beech ki distance 6 hours 45 minutes mein cover karti hai, lekin Vande Bharat 5 hours mein kar sakta hai. Do routes possible hain: Hosur and Salem (379 km) se aur Kuppam and Salem (420 km) se. Vande Bharat ke liye route abhi confirm nahi hua hai. Kuppam and Salem wala route double and electrified hai, lekin Hosur and Salem wala largely single hai. Karnataka Railway Vedike ke KN Krishna Prasad ka kehna hai ki train Bangarpet and Kuppam se hoke chale, aur KR Puram aur Bangarpet pe stop kare. Is route pe Tirupattur ke baad speed zyada ho sakti hai. Bengaluru-Coimbatore Vande Bharat ko Southern Railway's Salem division operate karega, jo Coimbatore se subah chalega aur Bengaluru dopahar tak pahunch jayega. Primary maintenance probably Coimbatore mein hoga.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
