Final location survey for long-awaited Nilambur-Nanjangud railway project begins

The Action Council, which has been advocating for this project, expects a budget allocation in the upcoming railway budget. The project has faced delays due to the previous government's refusal to release funds for a Detailed Project Report (DPR) and the focus on a separate Thalassery-Mysore rail link. Once completed, the Nilambur-Nanjangud line is anticipated to connect Kochi with Bengaluru in 7 hours.

Action Council ne is project ke liye bahut effort kiya hai, aur unhe ummid hai ki upcoming railway budget mein funds aayenge. Pichle government ne DPR ke liye funds release karne se mana kar diya tha, aur Thalassery-Mysore rail link pe focus kiya tha, isse project mein delay hua.
