According to railway officials, a goods train's pantograph broke and got entangled in the OHE wire earlier this morning, causing the OHE wire to snap and fall onto the railway track. This disruption resulted in a halt of traffic on both tracks. Immediately upon being informed of the incident, railway officials initiated emergency repairs. However, the broken wire has become entangled with the engine's pantograph, making the repair process challenging. The scattered OHE wires on both railway tracks have also hindered the resumption of train operations.
Reports suggest that approximately 25 trains traveling from Uttar Pradesh have been halted at intermediate stations. Passengers aboard these stranded trains are facing significant difficulties. Many passengers have run out of phone battery, leaving them unable to communicate and struggling in the heat. Additionally, the lack of drinking water at intermediate stations has added to the passengers' distress.
Railway officials have indicated that repairs might take some time. Notably, a similar incident of an OHE wire breaking occurred at the same location just a week ago. This recurring incident raises questions about the effectiveness of railway staff's work procedures.

Wire tootne se electric supply band ho gayi aur dono tracks pe traffic band ho gaya. Jaise hi railway officials ko yeh khabar mili, unhone jaldi se OHE wire ko durust karne ka kaam shuru kiya. Lekin, wire toot kar engine ke pantograph mein aise uljh gaya hai ki use thik karna bahut mushkil hai. Iske sath hi, dono railway tracks pe OHE wire bikhre hone ki wajah se rail track chaloo nahin ho saka hai.
Khabar ke mutabik, UP ki taraf se aane wali lag bhag 25 gadiyon ko beech ke stations pe rok diya gaya hai. Bech ke stations mein atki hui trains ke passengers bahut pareshan ho rahe hain. Bech ke stations mein atki hui trains mein se kai logon ki phone ki battery khatam ho gayi hai aur calling nahin hone ki wajah se passengers garmi mein pareshan ho rahe hain. Iske sath hi, beech ke stations mein peeyajal ki vyavastha nahin hone ki wajah se passengers peene ke pani ke liye bhi pareshan ho rahe hain.
Railway officials ne bataya hai ki repair mein thoda time aur lag sakta hai. Gaurtalab hai ki, ek hafta pehle bhi isi jagah pe OHE ka wire toot gaya tha. Us waqt bhi railway ne breakdown liya tha aur rail yaatayaat band raha tha. Ek hafta baad fir usi ilaake mein aisi hi ghatna hone se railway karmchariyon ki kaaryashaili pe bhi sawaliya nishan lag rahe hain.
