The Chakulia-Buramara line will include five new stations: Jharpokharia, New Jamshol, Bhadagoda, Lulagapani, and Barol. It will also require 61 bridges, including 41 ROBs. The Silli-Illoo line will reduce travel time from Tatanagar to Ranchi by 40 minutes. The new line will shorten the distance by 10 km and eliminate the need to change engines at Muri station. The Railway Board is also planning two new lines in Odisha: Gurumahisani to Bangardiposi (85.6 km) and Badampahar to Keonjhar (82.06 km). These lines will cost around 4100 crore rupees. Surveys have been completed for both lines, including station names, tunnels, ROBs, RUBs, underbridges, and bridge designs. These lines will reduce the distance between Tatanagar and Bhubaneswar by over 60 km.

Naya line se Ranchi ki distance 10 km kam hogi aur Muri station pe trains ke engine change karne ka jhanjhat nahi rahega.
