and town president, Samir Prasad Dutta, met with the Additional District Magistrate (Land Revenue) to express their displeasure and demand faster acquisition. They threatened to launch a major protest if the process is not expedited. The District Magistrate, Bijin Krishna, has assured that the land acquisition process will be completed by the end of the current month, reaching up to Kamarpara. However, the delay in completing the land acquisition despite the release of ₹300 crore by the Railway Ministry has raised questions. This issue has sparked political tensions in the district.

Sarkar aur town president, Samir Prasad Dutta ne ek delegation lekar additional district magistrate (land revenue) se mulaqat ki aur unhone is delay ka reason pucha aur fast land acquisition ki demand ki. Unhone dhamki di hai ki agar jaldi land transfer na hua to woh bada andolan karenge. District magistrate, Bijin Krishna ne bataya ki is month ke andar Kamarpara tak land acquisition khatam ho jaayega. Par railway ministry ne ₹300 crore de diye hain, phir bhi land acquisition kaam kyun nahin ho raha hai, yeh question uth raha hai aur isse district mein political tension badh raha hai.
