Since then, various trade unions have been demanding the conduct of these elections. Currently, the South Eastern Railway Men's Union and the South Eastern Railway Men's Congress are the recognized trade unions in the South Eastern Railway. Other active trade unions in the zone include the South Eastern Railway Men's Trinamool Congress and the Railway Bahujan Union.

Tab se, kai trade union manyeta chunaav karane ki maang kar rahe hain. South Eastern Railway mein South Eastern Railway Men's Union aur South Eastern Railway Men's Congress ko manyeta hai. Iske alawa zonal mein South Eastern Railway Men's Trinamool Congress, Railway Bahujan Union jaise kai trade union active hain.
