Agar train galti se red signal cross karti hai, to automatic braking system train ko rok dega. Desh ke 68,000 km track network mein se, Kavach 1465 kilometre mein protection deta hai. Iske saath, 3000 kilometre stretch mein installation ka kaam chal raha hai. Kerala mein yeh naya contract iske alawa hai. Automatic signalling wale routes mein Kavach protection zaruri hai. Shorannur-Ernakulam route mein automatic signalling ke liye shuruati process chal raha hai.
