Sources reported the attempt was due to her parents' disapproval of her relationship. The girl was returned to her family, but no statements have been made publicly by either her or her family.

Ladki ne un logo ke saath galat vyavhaar kiya aur khud ko nuksan pahunchaane ki dhamki deti rahi. Sources ke mutabiq, yeh suicide attempt us ladki ke pyaar ko unke parents ne mana karne ki wajah se hua tha.
