Every one knows it will be changed and some members should understand that the demand will ve for 8 coach and not 16 coach by the occupancy it gets. Even Durg Visakhapatnam will be changed but how fast RB acts is to be seen. There is no shortage of 8C rakes as some of them are run as VB inagural spls in reverse direction.

Even 8C will take some time and festive seasons to catch up with the bookings. Durg-Visakhapatnam, Howrah-Gaya both of these trains require a rake change to 8C. It'll be interesting to see on which route will ER use the 20C rake.

I don't think they've abundance of 8C rakes at present. New unpopular services like LKO-MTC and TATA-BAM are running with two dedicated rakes. That's the reason BSBS-AGC Vande Bharat's regular run has been postponed to August 23, because the rake has some technical issues and they don't have extra rakes handy.

KCG YPR VB is running with 100% occupancy but the train has current availability after anantpur/DMM deboarding @ 100 seats. The net travelling from KCG to YPR will be only 300-330 travelers of the 480 capacity. So 12 coach or 16 coach is more then enough. No need of wasting 20C rake for KCG YPR or SC Tirupati which has 250-500 vacant seats after Nellore depending on the day and Vskp SC which has vacant seats in Vijayawada SC and RJY vskp in reverse. 16 coaches are enough.
