Himachal Pradesh mein railway expansion ke liye Rs. 1838 crore allocate kiye gaye hain, jismein Bhanupali-Bilaspur-Beri line, Chandigarh-Baddi line aur Nangal-Talwara line jaise key projects hain. Una-Hamirpur railway line ko economic aur social significance ke liye highlighted kiya gaya hai, aur yeh tourism ko boost karega, defense personnel ke liye travel ko easy banayega aur state ki economy mein contribution karega.
