5:20 AM and departing for Shimla at 8:52 AM. The Kalka-Shimla Special train was delayed by nearly three hours, while the Holiday Special train was delayed by one hour. The fire forced these trains to halt at Taksal, Koti, Dharmpur, and Sanwara stations, causing inconvenience to passengers. However, the railway provided food and water for the passengers. The trains were only allowed to proceed after the fire was extinguished from the railway track. The wildfire had been raging since late Monday night. The most significant loss of forest wealth occurred in the Solan circle, with 374.5 hectares affected. Other areas impacted include Bilaspur (302 hectares), Chamba (3.5 hectares), Dharamshala (120.55 hectares), Hamirpur (211 hectares), Mandi (331.25 hectares), Nahan (212.3 hectares), Rampur (2 hectares), Shimla (3.5 hectares), WL North (0.083 hectares), and WL South (22 hectares).
