of the protests was directed against ousted Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's pro-India stance. Additionally, the removal of officials perceived to be close to the Awami League government in Bangladesh may have contributed to the delay in resuming rail services. However, the continued operation of goods trains between the two countries raises questions about the validity of these claims. The Maitree Express, inaugurated in 2008, and the Bandhan Express, launched in 2017, have been popular options for travel between India and Bangladesh, offering a nostalgic connection to the past and providing an affordable and comfortable mode of transport. The suspension of passenger train services has impacted many individuals who rely on this mode of transportation.

Iske alawa, Bangladesh mein Awami League government ke kareebi samjhe jaane waale officials ko hataane se bhi rail services start hone mein der ho sakti hai. Lekin, dono deshon ke beech goods trains chalna, in daavoon ki sahiyat par sawaal uthaata hai. Maitree Express, jo 2008 mein start hua tha, aur Bandhan Express, jo 2017 mein launch hua tha, India aur Bangladesh ke beech travel ke liye bahut popular options hain, jo ki past se jodne ka ek nostalgik connection dete hain aur sasta aur comfortable transport ka samadhan bhi dete hain. Passenger train services band hone se bahut logon ko takleef hui hai, jo is transport system par nirbhar hain.
