Goods train, TD naam se jani jati thi, Koderma se Gaya ki taraf ja rahi thi. Subah 8:55 AM par, train ki 16th aur 17th bogies ko jodne wali coupling tut gayi, jisse train do hisso mein ban gayi. Service ka aim intercity connectivity ko improve karna hai aur yeh 17 September, 2023 se public ke liye available hoga, 455 rupees ki fare ke saath. Train 12 coaches aur 1150 passengers ki seating capacity ke saath new technology se ladai hui hai aur yeh fast travel between cities provide karta hai. Express and Nauchandi Express on the same route. Though a semi-high-speed train, it takes over 7 hours to complete the journey between Meerut and Lucknow. The extension to Varanasi aims to increase passenger count, especially for those traveling between Lucknow and Varanasi. With the addition of the Vande Bharat Express, the current options like shuttle trains and other trains like the Bareilly Varanasi Express will offer more choices and potentially increase the occupancy of the Vande Bharat Express to 80-90%.

Is wajah se, yaatri is route par chalne wali Rajya Rani Express aur Nauchandi Express ko zyada pasand kar rahe hain. Halanki ye semi-high-speed train hai, lekin Meerut se Lucknow tak pahunchne mein 7 ghante se zyada time lagta hai. Varanasi tak route extend karne ka maqsad hai ki passengers ki number badhe, khass kar Lucknow aur Varanasi ke beech jaane walon ke liye. Vande Bharat Express aane ke baad, abhi chalne wali shuttle train aur Bareilly Varanasi Express jaise trains se yaatriyon ko zyada options milenge aur isse Vande Bharat Express ki occupancy 80-90% tak ja sakti hai.

This has led to negative sentiment towards the service. The Vande Bharat chair car can only travel eight hours one way, limiting potential routes. Furthermore, the service does not operate from midnight to 5 am. The cost of building an eight-coach Vande Bharat is Rs 52 crore, and these 16 idle trains represent an investment of over Rs 800 crore.
