Kanpur Central. Train number 20175 departs Varanasi at 3:20 PM, arrives in Kanpur Central at 6:57 PM and departs at 7:02 PM, and reaches Agra Cantt at 10:20 PM. The return train, number 20176, departs Agra at 6:00 AM and arrives in Kanpur Central at 9:15 AM, and reaches Varanasi at 1:00 PM. The train has eight coaches.

Following recent train accidents and suspected sabotage in Kanpur, a joint inspection was conducted by the Kanpur Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar and DRM Prayagraj Himanshu Badoni. This fourth line will increase train capacity and facilitate smoother train operations. The existing third line project between Chhapra and Barabanki is progressing well, with a 11 km section between Cantt and Kusmhi already trialled. The project is expected to be completed within two years, leading to increased train speeds and frequency and eliminating unnecessary stops for passenger trains. The third line project between Gonda-Burhwal is also advancing rapidly and is expected to be completed in two years, enabling through-running of freight trains and reducing congestion at Gorakhpur junction, thus enhancing capacity and speed on the Barabanki-Gorakhpur-Chhapra route.
