Manager of East Central Railway, Chhatrasal Singh, along with ministers, MPs, MLAs, and MLCs from Gaya district. A cultural program by schoolchildren will also be part of the event. This addition will make Gaya Junction a hub for Vande Bharat Express trains, with four pairs of Vande Bharat trains operating through the station. The Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express will travel via Dhanbad and Asansol, while the Varanasi-Devghar Vande Bharat Express will run between Devghar and Varanasi via Gaya, Nawada, and Kiul. Previously, the Vande Bharat Express trains operating between Ranchi-Patna and Ranchi-Varanasi also passed through Gaya Junction.

A 140-ton crane shed is being constructed in Madhupur at a cost of six crore. He said that the Ranchi-Giridih train will now go to Madhupur, beneficial for travel to Hazaribagh.
